Kai June 2005 - January 2018 Kai was the furbaby of Rich and Andrea Cooper. She is survived by her sibling dogs Misha and Gauge, and cats Snickers and Bella. Prior to injuring her back in 2015, Kai loved hunting, chasing birds, and being outdoors. Her favorite activity was watching her human kill birds, then standing there watching him retrieve them; stalking and pointing at birds in the yard (for hours); greeting the neighborhood kids; playing keep away from her sister dog; licking the cat's face; watching any type of construction project (she was always involved and curious); and shredding any type of paper product within reach. Kai loved walks and car rides (she knew how to roll the window down). She loved to eat ice cream and have her daily slice of cheese. Her favorite human outside of Rich and Andrea was "grandma." Kai knew grandma came by at 10:30 every Saturday morning. She would sit and stare at the door waiting for grandma to arrive with her treats. When she injured her back and couldn't walk, grandma came by daily and cared for her while the other humans were at work. She had a special bond with grandma. Kai was a very happy go lucky dog, but was not a fan of the cat sleeping her bed, her sister dog's squeaky toys, anyone walking within 10 ft. of her bone, or the vet. The best day of Kai's life was the day the humans left a fully cooked t-bone steak on the counter and left the room. Kai ate well that day.
